What Do You Fight For?
2020
The University of Washington campus has been a hub for political action. Throughout its history, students have used their voices to fight for causes such as Black Lives Matter, worker’s rights, and so much more. Using the power of students’ rhetoric, What Do You Fight For is an installation in the middle of UW's campus that informs viewers about the long history of protests on campus, accompanied by a website where people can contribute their own rhetoric.
Our visual system is inspired by the eye-catching and hand-made quality of protest signs.
Made in collaboration with Philbert Widjaja.
